The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) was founded on October 11, 1890. The National Headquarters is located in Washington, D.C.. The NSDAR has over 168,000 members, 3,000 chapters in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and many international locations. Over 890,000 women have joined the DAR since it was founded.
