What is DAR?

DAR is a women’s volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, patriotism, and honoring the Patriots of the American Revolutionary War.

We sponsor DAR Good Citizen Essay contests and chapter scholarships annually, as well as other awards to promote education.

We participate in a wide variety of projects in our community because we feel it is crucial to saving our history for future generations.

Patriotism

We promote the idea of love of country and we support our current and retired military and their extended families who help us.

                            El Redondo Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) and Coronavirus (Covid-19) Message -                                                                                       As of March 12, 2022, the Governor terminated the executive orders that put into place the Mask Mandate.                                                                                                          Given this, we are back to in-person meetings with an option for members to join via Zoom if requested.                                                                   For more information on how to join our meetings via zoom, please Contact Us.
